Anxiety, Grief, & Trauma Therapy in Florida
Hi, I’m Melanie (she/her).
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. I currently partner with the University of South Florida as an Adjunct Professor in the Judy Genshaft Honors College.
Prior to my career as a therapist, I taught teenagers with learning differences such as ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities. I love helping teens and adults navigate the challenges of anxiety, identity, and trauma.
I also have experience facilitating workshops for non-profits that focused on recovery after loss, church hurt, and/or sexual trauma.
I am a faith affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who wants each client to feel comfortable bringing their whole self to counseling.
